Company update – acquisition news
The Manchester based inTEC Group are delighted to announce that they have acquired, Provident Technology Limited as part of their on-going, ambitious acquisition strategy.
ICT provider inTEC are a highly experienced and entrepreneurial team building a network of telecoms and IT partners allowing them to expand their product and service portfolios, instantly transforming them into full-service ICT solutions providers.
They specialise in the design, implementation and support of a range of Cloud services and business applications including IT managed services, IT infrastructure support, hosted collaboration and communication solutions.
Provident Technology, an MSP based in Dublin, is inTEC’s first move out of the UK and allows them to further extend their ICT reach into a new market. They are the ninth business to join the Group and the first of many acquisitions planned for 2022.

Provident Technology’s shareholders will remain, holding a minority share interest, and will plan to transition to inTEC BUSINESS (Ireland) in the coming months. Colin O’Callaghan will head up Business Operations and will be retained as a Director.
FinRes advised Provident Technology on the transaction and going forward will work with inTEC on sourcing more opportunities in the Irish market.
