National Customer Service Week Roundup

During the week of 4th to 8th October 2021, everyone in the inTEC GROUP took part in National Customer Service Week. It was a great success!

The initiative (run by the Institute of Customer Service) raised awareness of Customer Service and the vital role it plays in the growth of the UK economy. The whole week was a perfect opportunity to thank our people for their contribution to our clients and those who support our internal customers too.

Each day had a specific theme…

Monday

The week started with a focus on ‘The Changing World Of Work’.  We’re all very aware of the increase in hybrid working due to the Covid pandemic. The last 18 months have been tough on a lot of our clients (and our team!) as they have had to adapt to the mix of home and office working. During the day, many inTEC team members took the time to praise their colleagues using the Microsoft Teams ‘Praise’ feature with really supportive comments including:

 

“A really great person to work with and a fantastic friend to have. Always supportive, caring and kind.”

“He’s the go-to person for almost anything you need help with!”

“Thanks for all the great stuff they have done this week.”

“I would like to highlight [my team] for giving up a large portion of their day on Saturday and helping a valued client with a major IT issue that was impacting the business.”

“Always goes out of her way to support everyone and shows real leadership skills in everything she does.”

“Feels great to be part of the team!”

“Thanks for our ‘bouncing ideas’ chats and being a great person to work with.”

Even better, anyone who received praise had access to a ‘lucky dip’ prize bag which had been sent to each of the six inTEC GROUP office locations!

Team members also helped to kick off National Customer Service Week by decorating their respective offices and taking part in fun games.

Tuesday

Today’s theme was ‘Service with Respect Day’. We recently sent out a client satisfaction survey. The results are now in, and they are overwhelmingly positive! Here are a list of the questions we asked and the fantastic responses we received about the amazing work everyone is doing to help deliver brilliant customer service.

How satisfied are you with the service you receive from the inTEC team?

100% of respondents stated they were VERY SATISFIED!

How would you rate the friendliness of the inTEC team?

100% of respondents said VERY FRIENDLY!

How satisfied are you with the knowledge of the inTEC team?

22% of respondents said they were SATISIFIED and 78% said they were VERY SATISIFED!

How likely are you to recommend our services to a friend or colleague?

22% of respondents said they were LIKELY and 78% said they were VERY LIKELY!

How would you rate the service offered to your business by inTEC?

22% of respondents rated us with 4 STARS **** and 78% with 5 STARS! *****

Wednesday

As we reached the middle of this special week, the theme was ‘Essential Customer Service Skills & Capabilities.’

Today, we drew attention to some great young people who are currently on Apprenticeship schemes or have now completed their qualification at inTEC.

Young talent is the future of our business and we feel very lucky to have all of these great people in our team.

Thursday

The focus of the penultimate day was ‘Effective Strategy & Focused Leadership.’

We know all our people use leadership qualities every day and we were delighted to see our people praising each other on Microsoft Teams to recognise this.

Friday

Recognition day! As National Customer Service Week drew to a close, we said a big thank you to everyone who took part in the week’s events. The week has shown some great examples of teamwork both internally and with customers.
